How Integrations Work
Capture Integrations
Capture integrations let you create decisions in real-time:

The bot listens for mentions, captures the surrounding context, and creates a Decision Snapshot.
Discover Integrations
Discover integrations scan your historical data for past decisions:
- Align's AI analyzes your data
- Potential decisions are surfaced for review
- You confirm which ones to import
- They become searchable Decision Snapshots
Connecting Integrations
- Go to Settings → Integrations in Align
- Click Connect next to the integration
- Authorize Align in the external service
- Configure which channels/projects to include
Data & Privacy
- Align only accesses data you explicitly grant
- Messages are processed to extract decisions only
- Raw messages are not stored long-term
- You can disconnect integrations at any time
